Sharing stories is one of the most powerful tools we have to inform, inspire and influence change. When we hear or read a story we can see ourselves in, it unites emotion with facts and data, and creates connections between people and ideas. This makes stories a highly effective tool in motivating people to modify the way they have always done things.
We know there are people working towards better outcomes in healthcare everyday, getting involved, advocating for themselves and others, to improve patient safety in their encounters with the healthcare system. Those stories are important for other patients to hear.
